As usual I looked forward to my Manners Matter Etiquette Class last Wednesday.
The 8 to 12 year old girls welcome me with so much enthusiasm. It is a great gift to me to be able to spend time with these girls.
I’d like to introduce them to you. Please meet Katie, Josette, Fernanda, Ana, Connie,
Yolanda, Zoey, Jocelyn, Stephanie, Monica, Anita and Cynthia.
And here is a picture of the class.
One of the lessons of the day was to always stand up when an older person enters the room. A few minutes after this lesson, I left the library (where we meet) to go to the kitchen for ice cream snacks. When I opened the library door and entered the room all twelve of the girls popped out of their seats!
I can’t tell you how very proud I am of these “Kids Without Stuff.”
