United Nations World Environment Day

Today, June 5, is the United Nations World Environment Day. World Environment Day is a celebration for positive environmental changes and a call to action. The United Nations first designated World Environment Day in 1972.

There are 100’s of things you can do to help improve the environment and make a positive impact in your neighborhood or city. Here is our list:

1.      Plant a garden
2.      Recycle
3.      Plant a tree
4.      Bring your own bags to the grocery
5.      Pick up trash
6.      Use recyclable containers
7.      Ride your bike or walk to work

What are you doing to improve the environment? Please take a moment to add to our list. We’d love to hear your suggestions.
