This week’s quotes reflect the New Year and the hopes, resolutions, and dreams that the month of January brings.

                        Brian Tracy
Brian Tracy was born in 1944. Tracy is a well-known author and motivational speaker who has written over 21 books on self-help, leadership, sales, and business strategies.
                        “The ability to convert ideas to things is the secret to outward success.”
Henry Ward Beecher
Henry Ward Beecher was born June 24, 1813 and died March 8, 1887. Beecher was a prominent minister, author, social reformer, abolitionist, and speaker in the mid to late 19th century.
                        “A wise man will make more opportunities than he finds.”
                        Sir Francis Bacon
Sir Francis Bacon was born January 22, 1561 and died April 9, 1626. Bacon was an English philosopher, statesman, scientist, lawyer and author. He served both as Attorney General and Lord Chancellor of England. Bacon has been called the father of empiricism.

                        Virgil
Publius Vergilius Maro was born October 15, 70 BC and died September 21, 19 BC. Virgil was a classical Roman poet, best known for The Eclogues, The Georgics, and Aeneid.

                        Robert Collier
Robert Collier was born April 19, 1885 and died in 1950. Collier was an author of self-help and new thought metaphysical books in the 20th century. He wrote several books, including The God in You, The Magic Word, The Secret of the Ages, and the Secret Power. His book The Secret of the Ages was referenced in the book, The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.
