Have a Laugh Together

by Jan Shoop
Since this is the last week of National Humor Month, I thought it would be fun to continue the theme with today’s post. In fact, until a few weeks ago I didn’t even know there was a National Humor Month. I think it is a great idea.

Sometimes we get so busy with our daily lives, the ups and downs of work, family, friends and finances, that we forget to laugh. At times, I know I have forgotten to laugh, especially with my family. I start to take life too seriously and forget to laugh. How about you, do you ever forget to laugh?

Sunday, my husband and I had Easter lunch with family. There were about 15 people, ages from 3 to 84. We all brought a salad to share. We talked, watched the little ones hunt for Easter eggs and kicked our feet in the pool. And you know what? We were all laughing. It was a wonderful afternoon.

So – I have a challenge for you. Tonight and every night this week, when you get into bed, before you go to sleep, ask yourself this question, “Did I laugh today? Did I enjoy the day? Did I smile today?” I’m hoping your answer to all three questions is -- YES.

In case you’re still not laughing, here is a hilarious YouTube video that is guaranteed to make you laugh. It’s called, Baby Laughing Hysterically at Ripping Paper .
Enjoy!
